I’m sorry this comes too late for Halloween; it would have been perfect. But I wasn’t aware of its existence — or that of illustrator Brian Gubicza — until alert reader Kathyfr (as she asked to be identified) sent me the link.
There are so many wonderful things about this item it’s hard to know where to start. The subtle splatters of blood, including one on the left pants leg, the little swath of brain, the worry lines, the cigar… But best of all is the fact that you can follow this link for a pdf that lets you create your own free zombie Freud toy!
So thank you Kathy for your tip, and thank you Brian Gubicza and Matt Hawkins for your creation, which will no doubt provide hours of fun for current and future neurotics.
